DETROIT (AP) _ Eminem's former homes continue to draw fans _ and bids of more than $11 million _ to an Internet auction site.
A modest, 1,300-square-foot Warren home, listed on eBay since Nov. 14, was appraised at $91,000. The highest of the 289 bids as of Monday morning was $11,000,600. Bidding opened at $120,000.
``It amazes me,'' co-owner Roland Fraschetti told The Detroit News. ``We're trying to find out more about the bidder.''
The Macomb County commissioner from St. Clair Shores bought the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home on Nov. 8 for $45,000 with partner Sebastian Lucido.
``We know there are sincere bids out there in the six figures and some sincere bids in the seven figures but I don't know about the eight-figure bids,'' Fraschetti said.
Another former Eminem abode _ a 5,000-square-foot colonial in Sterling Heights _ went up on eBay on Wednesday and drew an initial bid of $600,000. The highest of 44 bids as of Monday morning was $800,400.
