OGDEN, Utah (AP) _ Utah coach Rick Majerus said Wednesday's 87-62 victory over Weber State was a good example of a problem plaguing his team.

``I have a nice problem here,'' said Majerus. ``I have too many guys who are unselfish.''

Hanno Mottola scored 25 points, Andre Miller had 15 and Trace Caton and Drew Hansen added 12 each for the Utes.

Damien Baskerville led Weber State with 25 points.

Majerus said he had two goals for his team: ``We wanted to take (Alex) Fisher and Baskerville out of the game.''

The Utes (2-0) held Fisher to just six points, but had a tougher time restraining Baskerville.

Mottola said he knew he had to move to the inside more with starting center Mike Doleac out with a sprained ankle. But Mottola was not happy with the Utes' rebounding, particularly in the first half.

Weber (0-1) of the Big Sky Conference outrebounded Utah 35-28 _ 24-10 in the first half.

Weber State led early as Ryan Jama's 18-foot jumper made the score 7-6. But Miller answered with a baseline shot and Utah never trailed again.

Mottola scored 10 points in the first half as Utah built a 40-27 lead at the break.

The Utes extended their lead to 48-29 with 18:10 to play as Mottola made a three-point play. The Wildcats then outscored Utah 8-2, prompting Majerus to call a timeout.

Utah responded with a 16-9 run and led 66-46 at the 8:50 mark after Miller made back-to-back field goals.
