SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) — A former eastern Pennsylvania vocational school teacher has been sentenced to 11 to 33 months in prison in the sexual assault of nearly a dozen students.
Sixty-two-year-old Richard Humphrey pleaded guilty in January to 11 counts of indecent assault and one count of corruption of minors.
Humphrey resigned after teaching automotive classes at the Lackawanna County Career Technology Center in Scranton for two years.
Authorities said the investigation began last year after seven students came forward with stories of Humphrey sexually assaulting them.
