SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) — The search has been suspended for a possible missing paraglider in the ocean near Seabrook Beach.
The U.S. Coast Guard said someone on the beach called 911 around 7:30 p.m. Sunday to report that a blue paraglider had crashed into the ocean about 600 yards off shore. Officials said there were no reports of a missing person. Search and rescue crews from several agencies searched through the night and into Monday, covering 201 square nautical miles by helicopter, plane and boat without finding anything.
The search was suspended Monday afternoon.
