SALT LAKE CITY (AP) _ The Utah Jazz signed point guard Rusty LaRue Thursday for the rest of the season.

LaRue, who spent parts of three seasons with the Chicago Bulls, has played in 10 games for the Jazz this season. He is averaging 6.2 points and 17.6 minutes a game behind John Stockton.

Twice this season, LaRue signed 10-day contracts with the Jazz. He initially joined the team in January after backup point guard John Crotty went on the injured list. LaRue averaged 7.3 points for Utah's summer-league team last year.
