DENVER (AP) _ Former Atlanta Falcon Ephraim Salaam has signed with Denver, and is expected to be the Broncos' starting right tackle.

Salaam told the Denver Post that the deal is for seven years and includes a $700,000 signing bonus.

Team spokesman Jim Saccomano would not confirm the deal.

Salaam, who started for the Falcons in the 1999 Super Bowl, is scheduled to fly to Denver this week.

``I just liked the vibe I got there,'' Salaam told the paper for Monday's edition. ``Plus everything there just felt right. Being from Sacramento, Denver's closer to home so my family and friends will be able to see more games.''

The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Salaam visited Denver last month.
