Eze Wins Belmont Feature

NEW YORK (AP) _ Eze came from last in the field of six to register a half-length victory in the seventh running of the Pebbles Handicap Belmont Monday.
Colstar was second, a nose ahead of Jazz.
Eze made her move midway on the far turn. Racing wide, she circled her rivals and wore down the leaders in the final strides.
It was the third win in nine starts this year for the daughter of Williamstown from the Green Dancer mare, Ebony Dancer.
Eze carried 113 and Robbie Davis 1 1-8 miles in 1:52:4 to earn $49,950 for Carlos Perez.
The winner returned $7.20, $3.20 and $3.00. Colstar paid $3.40 and $2.50 and Jazz was $4.70 to show.
