SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of the driver who died in a two-car crash in Springfield last weekend.

The Hampden district attorney's office says 48-year-old Christopher Martin, of Springfield, was critically injured in the crash at about 4:40 a.m. Saturday

Martin was taken by ambulance to Baystate Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries. That person's name has not been made public.

The crash remains under investigation.
