MINNEAPOLIS — A protest was planned Tuesday afternoon in downtown Minneapolis over the police shooting of 31-year-old Thurman Blevins. Blevins, who was black, was shot June 23 as he fled police checking a 911 report of a man firing a gun into the air. A prosecutor on Monday said the officers acted appropriately. By Youssef Rddad.
