OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Police in Oklahoma City are searching for suspects in a fatal early-morning shooting.

Television station KFOR reports that the victim was shot around 2 a.m. Sunday on the city's northeast side. An officer administered CPR in an unsuccessful attempt to save the victim. Authorities say the officer reported finding multiple empty bullet casings on the ground in the area.

Details about the victim, including the person's age, sex and identity, were not immediately released.

Authorities say suspects fled the scene following the shooting and that officers were searching for them Sunday morning.

The shooting remains under investigation.
