VANDALIA, Ohio (AP) _ A man police say fatally shot his estranged wife during her aerobics class after telling her ``You're finished'' was arrested Friday and charged in the attack.
Jerry L. Frazier, 40, was charged with attempted murder and was being held in the county jail.
Gina Melton Frazier, 41, was shot in the chest, stomach and arms Thursday night in this Dayton suburb. She died Friday afternoon, according to Police Lt. John Sands Sands and Larry Brown, morgue attendant for the Montgomery County coroner's office.
Sands said he would seek a different charge against Frazier since the victim had died.
The shooting occurred about 6:40 p.m. midway through a one-hour aerobics class attended by about 30 people.
A man stormed into the class and told Ms. Frazier, ``You're finished,'' after the woman asked him why he was there, a witness said. Ms. Frazier identified the man as her husband.
``He confronted her,'' Sands said. ``They got into a physical struggle, where he pulled her up on a stage and shot her.''
After she fell to the floor, the gunman pushed her under a table and ran out through a back door, Sands said.
