Idaho authorities identify body recovered from Snake River

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Idaho officials have identified a body recovered from the Snake River.
On Tuesday, the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office identified the body recovered from the river on May 30 as 23-year-old Kayla Davis.
The Post Register reports she had recently moved to Idaho Falls from Pocatello.
Officials were able to identify her using dental records.
According to a previous statement by police, Davis' husband, Walker Thomas reported on May 9 that Davis had slipped on some driftwood and fell into the water.
The Idaho State Journal reports the couple got married earlier this year.
The Idaho Falls police department said in a statement that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Davis' death is ongoing.
