KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Lisa Harrison scored a career-high 24 points as No. 2 Tennessee routed Mississippi State 109-62 Saturday.

The Lady Vols (11-1, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) opened up a 40-8 lead in the first half and led 53-22 at halftime. Harrison was 9 of 12 from the field and had six assists.

Center Charetta Robinson led Mississippi State (9-5, 1-3) with 23 points, including 15 in the second half. She also grabbed 16 rebounds.

Peggy Evans added 18 points for Tennessee, while Nikki McCray and Dana Johnson each scored 17. Vonda Ward, who had 12 rebounds, and Nikki Caldwell had 10 points apiece.

Carla Northcutt followed Robinson with 14 points for Mississippi State.
