Bruise Makes McCardell Day-to-Day
Nov. 22, 1999
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Receiver Keenan McCardell of the Jacksonville Jaguars was recovering from a deep thigh bruise Monday that will make him day-to-day in practices leading to next weekend's game against Baltimore.
McCardell was injured during the second half of Sunday's 41-23 victory over New Orleans. After the game, he said he felt OK.
``He's sore, but I think it will eventually work itself out,'' coach Tom Coughlin said.
McCardell played much of last season with a broken hand and an injured shoulder.
