MONTREAL (AP) _ Second-seeded Jennifer Capriati advanced to the semifinals of the Rogers AT&T Cup on Friday, beating Belgium's Justine Henin 4-6, 6-0, 6-1 in windy conditions.

``I wish we could have just moved it indoors. The wind was brutal,'' Capriati said.

``It's tough, especially in these kinds of matches when you're playing someone like Justine. You've got to play the wind and play the opponent, too. On one side, you go for it and on the other, you try not to hit to hard.''

Capriati, the 1991 tournament winner at age 15, will face the winner of a late match between sixth-seeded Martina Hingis of Switzerland and third-seeded Jelena Dokic of Yugoslavia.

In the other semifinal, seventh-seeded Amelie Mauresmo of France will play eighth-seeded Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia.

Mauresmo beat Fabiola Zuluaga of Colombia 6-0, 6-2, and Hantuchova defeated Austria's Barbara Schett 6-3, 6-3.
