80-Pound Tumor Removed From Girl

BALTIMORE (AP) _ Doctors removed an 80-pound tumor from a 17-year-old girl who went to the emergency room complaining of stomach pains.
Tests showed a large mass on her ovaries after the 17-year-old Baltimore girl went to Franklin Square Hospital Center on Sunday night. On Tuesday, doctors spent 4 1/2 hours removing a benign ovarian growth from her body.
The girl, who weighed more than 300 pounds when she checked into the hospital, was in good condition Friday.
