WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) _ Mark Lueking scored a game-high 28 points as Army beat Lehigh 91-75 in a Patriot League game Saturday afternoon.

Army outscored Lehigh 32-12 over the final 8:38 of the first half to break open a close contest.

There were four lead changes over the first seven minutes before Justin Johnson's 12-foot bank shot put the Cadets in front for good with 12:32 remaining in the first half. Lehigh (3-16 overall, 1-6 Patriot League) closed to 20-19 on a layup by Rashawne Glenn with 8:38 to go.

But Jamie Uptgraft sandwiched a pair of 3-pointer jumpers around a 3-pointer by Lueking, igniting a 12-0 run by the Cadets that gave Army (6-13, 2-5) a 38-21 advantage with 3:43 to play.

The Engineers pulled to within 43-29 on a free throw by Kirk Hodgson with 1:28 remaining before halftime. Lueking then drilled five straight free throws, the last two following a technical foul called on Lehigh head coach Dave Duke.

A layup by Brad Paulsen and Lueking's 12-foot jumper at the buzzer capped the 9-2 Army run over the final 1:13 of the first, giving the Cadets a 52-31 halftime lead.

Army led by as many as 28 points in the second half.

Mike Rainey had a career-high 15 points and eight rebounds, while Uptgraft equaled career highs in scoring (13) and assists (6) for the Cadets.

Kem Widmer led three Lehigh players in double figures with 19 points.
