SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina man has been charged with indecent exposure after police say he was photographed standing naked in the window of his apartment.

The State newspaper reports that an off-duty Spartanburg police officer saw the man standing naked in a sliding-glass window facing a public walkway around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

An incident report says that when the officer looked at the man, the man looked back while holding his blinds open and exposing his genitals.

The report says the officer stood for "several minutes" while the man continued to hold the blinds open.

The officer later took pictures of the man, identified in the police report as David Lee Tinsley.

When confronted by officers, Tinsley, who answered his door wearing a pair of basketball shorts, denied exposing himself.
