Loyola-Chicago, Michigan reach Final Four...Rockets continue win streak...Preds, Bolts lose

ATLANTA (AP) — Eleventh seed Loyola-Chicago has reached the Final Four of the NCAA men's basketball tournament for the first time in 55 years. Ben Richardson shot 6-for-7 from 3-point range and had 23 points as the Ramblers ousted No. 9 Kansas State, 78-62. Donte Ingram added 12 points and had a team-high eight rebounds for the Ramblers, who shot over 57 percent and led by as many as 23.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michigan is making its second trip to the Final Four of the NCAA men's basketball since 2013. Charles Matthews scored 17 points and Moe Wagner (VAHG'-nur) added 12 despite foul trouble as the third-seeded Wolverines outlasted No. 9 Florida State, 58-54. Michigan's biggest lead was 10 points with 2:21 left in the second half, but the Seminoles scored the next seven points and had a chance to tie it.
HOUSTON (AP) — James Harden poured in 27 points in just three quarters as the Houston Rockets rolled to their eighth straight win, 114-91 against New Orleans. Houston improved to a team-record 59-14 and moved 4 ½ games ahead of the Warriors in the battle for the league's best record. Clint Capela provided 18 points on 9 of 12 shooting for Houston.
UNDATED (AP) — The NHL's two conference leaders were losers on Saturday. Nashville's lead in the West is down to five points over Vegas after Jason Zucker scored his 30th goal and had an assist in Minnesota's 4-1 win over the Predators. Tampa Bay remains four points ahead of Boston in the East after Keith Kincaid stopped 35 shots to lead the New Jersey Devils past Tampa Bay, 2-1.
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Justin Thomas, Alex Noren, Kevin Kisner and Bubba Watson have reached the semifinals of Match Play at Austin Country Club in Texas. Thomas was involved in the closest quarterfinal match before earning a 2 and 1 victory over Kyle Stanley. Ian Poulter was unbeaten in the tournament before absorbing an 8 and 6 loss to Kisner.
