BIG TEN-WORTH THE RISK?
The last two Big Ten champions didn't make college football's playoff, in part because of early losses against tough nonconference foes. This year, Michigan State and Michigan have already dropped games, reducing their margins for error and raising again the question of whether playing tough teams out of conference is worth the risk.
