Moenne Loccoz, Vaultier win snowboardcross World Cup races

FELDBERG, Germany (AP) — Nelly Moenne Loccoz and Pierre Vaultier clinched a French double at the second sprint competition of the snowboardcross World Cup on Sunday.
Moenne Loccoz finished ahead of compatriot Chloe Trespeuch and Michela Moioli of Italy to extend her lead in the standings with her third career victory.
Lindsey Jacobellis of United States was fourth, ahead of Australia's Belle Brockhoff and Canada's Tess Critchlow.
Vaultier, the Olympic champion, finished ahead of standings leader Nikolay Olyunin of Russia and Lluis Marin Tarroch of Andorra for his 16th World Cup win, making him the most successful male snowboarder ahead of Canada's Jasey Jay Anderson (15 wins).
The next races are scheduled for Feb. 20-21 in Sunny Valley, Russia.
