NORFOLK, Va. (AP) _ Lucienne Berthieu scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and No. 11 Old Dominion scored the first 21 points of the game en route to an 89-60 victory over East Carolina Sunday.

Amanda Levens scored 8 points, including two 3-pointers, as the Lady Monarchs (18-3, 12-0 Colonial Athletic Association) virtually assured their 76th straight league victory in the first eight minutes. The Lady Monarchs led by as many as 30 before halftime and by at least 17 thereafter.

Allison Trapp and Waynetta Veney had 12 points apiece for East Carolina (12-10, 5-7), which shot only 34 percent from the field.

Natalie Diaz had 16 points and Mery Andrade 10 for Old Dominion, which outrebounded East Carolina 55-40 and forced 30 turnovers.
