OIL PIPELINE PROTEST-SHOOTING
BISMARCK, N.D. — A Denver woman who pleaded guilty in a shooting during protests in North Dakota against the Dakota Access oil pipeline is sentenced. Red Fawn Fallis was among hundreds of people arrested during the height of protests in 2016 and 2017, but she was the only one accused of firing a gun. She faces up to 15 years in federal prison.
