DuPont Making Lycra Plant in Brazil

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) _ DuPont Co. is investing $100 million to build a new Lycra plant in Brazil that will be almost fully automated.
The plant is similar to those already operating in Waynesboro, Va., Singapore; and Maydown, Northern Ireland.
Construction on the plant in Paulinia will begin next month with operation expected by late 2001.
