Fighter Plane Crashes, Burns; Pilot Unhurt

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (AP) _ An Air National Guard fighter plane crash-landed and burned Saturday at an air base, but the pilot was not injured, authorities said.
The A-7D Corsair crashed at 3:20 p.m. at Selfridge Air National Guard Base after the pilot practiced takeoffs and landings, said spokeswoman Alice Errington.
The pilot, who was not identified, was attached to the 107th Tactical Fighter Squadron at the base.
