The powerful United States swimming team will face a squad of European stars in a Duel in the Pool in Glasgow, Scotland, in December.
British Swimming announced the Dec. 20-21 event on Wednesday.
The meet will be held in the Tollcross International Swimming Centre, which will host swimming at next year's Commonwealth Games.
Teams have not been announced, although British Swimming said Olympic silver medalist Michael Jamieson, who is from Glasgow, will compete.
The short-course (25-meter pool) meet will include teams of up to 22 men and 22 women and feature straight head-to-head finals for each event, thus no heats.
The U.S. has won all five previous Duels in the Pool, beating Australia in the first three editions and the Europeans in 2009 and 2011.
