MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The latest University of Minnesota athlete graduation rate is a program-record 92 percent.

This score was taken by the percentage of athletes on any Gophers team who came to Minnesota as freshmen in 2010 and graduated within six years. Transfer students are also included in the data. The university's previous record was 90 percent, established last year. The first edition in 2005 was just 67 percent.

All 11 women's teams came in at 87 percent or higher, including 100 percent scores for basketball, gymnastics, hockey, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Six men's teams were above 90 percent, with 100 percent rates by cross country/track and field, golf, gymnastics and tennis.

The NCAA announced the results Wednesday.
