MOSCOW (AP) _ A Czech-made L-410 passenger plane has disappeared in the southeastern Czech Republic, a Russian news agency reported early Wednesday.
The aircraft en route from Gomel was approaching the Brno-Turzane airport when it vanished from radar screens, the ITAR-Tass news agency said. Search operations were under way, the agency said.
There was no information on the number of passengers and crew aboard the airplane. The news agency quoted an airport official as saying the plane can carry up to 20 passengers.
