PRAGUE, Czech Republic (AP) _ Steven Matebo Cheptot won the Prague International Marathon on Sunday while Salina Jebet Kosgei took the women's race in a sweep for Kenya.

Cheptot easily won in 2 hours, 10 minutes, 42 seconds in warm and humid weather. Countryman Laban Kipngetich was second in 2:11:48, while Robert Kiprotich Cheruiyot was third in 2:12:14. Kenyans took the first four places.

Barnabas Koech, who won last year, retired with just 4.4 miles left in the 26.2-mile race.

Kosgei clocked 2:28:41. Larissa Zousko of Russia was second in 2:30:14, and Kenya's Hellen Cherono finished third in 2:31:28.
