ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) _ Troy Glaus homered twice in Saturday's World Series opener, tying a record by hitting six home runs in a postseason.

Glaus homered in the second and sixth innings for Anaheim off San Francisco's Jason Schmidt. Glaus also homered twice in the division series opener at New York's Yankee Stadium. All of his homers have been solo shots.

Bob Robertson (1971), Lenny Dykstra (1993), Ken Griffey Jr. (1995), Bernie Williams (1996) and Jim Thome (1998) also have homered six times in a postseason.
