SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The aunt of a 12-year-old boy hit by a school bus in Roy says he's fighting for his life at a hospital.

Cynthia Heath told KUTV news that Natas Farkas suffered serious head injuries in the Friday collision and has been unresponsive ever since.

Farakas was riding his bike downhill, racing his brother, when he was hit by the bus full of kids in an intersection. No one on board the bus was hurt.

Roy police say the driver was not speeding or distracted. There was a stop sign in the direction Farakas was riding, but not for the bus.

Heath says the family wants to push for a 4-way stop at the intersection, since it's difficult to see what's coming or going there.
