WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) _ Defenseman Ken Sutton will play for the International Hockey League's Manitoba Moose this season.

The Moose announced Wednesday they received Sutton on loan from the NHL's St. Louis Blues.

Sutton split last season between the Edmonton Oilers and St. Louis. He had eight assists in 38 games.

Sutton played his first four seasons with the Buffalo Sabres, who took him in the fourth round of the 1989 Entry Draft.
