Chrysler Announces Incentives on 1990 Models
Oct. 09, 1989
HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (AP) _ Chrysler Motors Corp. says it has revised the cash-back incentives its offers on its 1990 models.
The rebates on 1990 cars range from $300 on base models of the Dodge Shadow and Plymouth Sundance to $1,000 on larger models and the Dodge Daytona ES sports models.
Chrysler raised the incentive on the Dodge Daytona from $500 offered on the 1988-89 models to $750 on the 1990 model. Incentives on the Daytona ES and the LeBaron Convertible Premium GT and GTC are $1,000, which also represents a $250 increase.
The cash incentive on the compact Shadow and Sundance was lowered from $500 in 1989-89 to $300 in 1990. Incentives also were lowered on the LeBaron Coupe Highline, Eagle Premier LX, Premier ES, Premier LTD, and the New Yorker Landau with Mark Cross Edition package.
Chrysler said Saturday it would honor any higher cash allowance previously available on vehicles delivered through Oct. 12.
Cash back offers on other Dodge cars and trucks and Jeep models remain the same as those for 1988-89 models.
