%mlink(STRY:; PHOTO:; AUDIO:%) 2061 CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) _ Jeff Klein threw four touchdown passes and set The Citadel's single-season passing yardage record in a 53-19 victory over Charleston Southern on Thursday night.

Klein completed 17 of 32 passes for 251 yards, and he finished the season with 2,561 yards.

The Citadel (3-9) scored 17 points in the second quarter to make the Bulldogs' lead 24-7. Linebacker T.J. Rose intercepted a pass at the 39-yard line and returned it 25 yards to the Buccaneers 14-yard line to halt a drive in the second quarter.

The turnover led to Nehemiah Broughton's 1-yard dive into the end zone with 2:11 left in the half.

Aaron Dunklin ran for 135 yards, while Darren Swiggett threw for 396 yards on 29-of-50 passing for the Buccaneers.

Charleston Southern scored two touchdowns in the third quarter but failed to convert an extra point and a 2-point conversion pass.
