Dolphins Release Calvin Jackson

MIAMI (AP) _ The Miami Dolphins released safety Calvin Jackson and signed safety Arturo Freeman to a three-year contract Tuesday.
Freeman recorded 34 tackles last year as a University of South Carolina senior. The 195-pound, 23-year-old was a fifth round draft pick. Terms of the contract were not released.
In five seasons, Jackson started 57 games, made 267 tackles and had four interceptions.
