Spurs' Robinson OK After Collision
Nov. 25, 1999
BOSTON (AP) _ David Robinson, apparently stunned when hit in the head by San Antonio teammate Tim Duncan, started the second half Wednesday night after spending the last 1:21 of the first half in the locker room.
Robinson had 10 points and six rebounds in 18 minutes before being shaken up.
The Spurs center had clutched his shoulder as he lay on the court for more than two minutes, then left for the locker room with San Antonio leading the Celtics 60-39.
Duncan missed a short shot and, as he jumped for the rebound, hit Robinson on the top of the head with his arm. Robinson went down, holding his head with his left hand, then grabbing his right shoulder.
