Early morning fire kills 2 children, mother in central NY

PLYMOUTH, N.Y. (AP) — A pre-dawn fire that broke out in a camper in central New York killed a 1-year-old boy, a 10-year-old girl and their mother.
The Observer-Dispatch of Utica reports that 33-year-old Debbie L. Pfeiffer died along with 1-year-old Benjamin Pfeiffer and 10-year-old Amber Morrow in a fire that started before 5 a.m. Monday.
The Chenango County sheriff's office said the family was living in the camper on a plot of land in a rural area about 45 miles north of Binghamton.
Authorities were still investigating the cause of the fire.
Autopsies were expected to take place Tuesday.
