RADFORD, Va. (AP) _ Jermaine Williams came off the bench to score a team-high 16 points and Jason Lansdown chipped in five key points during overtime as Radford defeated Liberty 71-65 Monday night.

The score was tied at 57 at the end of regulation to force the game into overtime.

Liberty (7-6 overall, 1-2 Big South Conference) led 63-59 with 2:39 left in overtime. Lansdown, who finished with 11 points, hit a 3-pointer at 2:05. Liberty failed to score on their next possession, and Lansdown made a field goal to give the Highlanders a 64-63 lead.

Radford led 30-23 at the half when power in the city of Radford went out, causing a 37-minute delay during halftime.

Kevin Robinson added 12 points and had three blocked shots for the Highlanders (7-7, 1-1).

Peter Aluma led all scorers with 23 points for the Flames, and Larry Jackson had 17 points.
