German women score 2 goals in 2nd half to beat England 2-1

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Babett Peter scored on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute, helping Germany rally with two second-half goals in beating England 2-1 Sunday in the SheBelieves Cup.
Ranked fifth, England led the world's No. 2 team 1-0 at halftime on a goal by Toni Duggan. She scored on a header in the ninth minute off a pass from Alex Greenwood into the corner past keeper Laura Benkarth.
Germany tied it off an own goal in the 76th minute. Sara Dabritz's kick went off went off Gilly Flaherty and deflected between keeper Karen Bardsley and the post. When Claire Rafferty was called for a penalty in the box, Peter scored on the ensuing kick, putting the ball to the right of a diving Bardsley.
Now 2-0, Germany will play the top-ranked U.S. (2-0) in Boca Raton, Florida on March 9 as the cup wraps up. England (0-2) will play France (0-2).
