RUSTON, La. (AP) _ Amisha Carter had 20 points and 21 rebounds to lead ninth-ranked Louisiana Tech to a 75-58 victory Saturday night over Texas-El Paso.

It was the seventh win in a row for Tech (15-2, 8-1 Western Athletic) and kept the Lady Raiders unbeaten in each five games against the Miners (10-8, 5-4).

It was also the 91st consecutive regular-season home win against a conference team by Louisiana Tech and the 156th straight victory against unranked opponents.

Carter made eight of 16 shots, and was 4-of-8 from the foul line.

Tech, which has averaged nearly 88 points during its winning streak, also got 15 points from Trina Frierson and 13 from Erica Smith-Taylor.

Texas-El Paso, the top-ranked defensive team in the WAC, got 11 points each from Vaida Zagurakyte, Noni Wharemate and Ana Valtierra.

Tech finished with a 45-32 rebounding edge, shot 43.3 percent and forced the Miners into 23 turnovers.
