Grain higher, livestock mostly lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. was up 0.25 cent to 4.2025 a bushel; Dec. corn gained 3.75 cents to 3.5750 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 5.25 cents at $2.09 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans gained 9 cents to $9.8150 a bushel.
Beef lower pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was down 1.73 cents at $.9602 a pound; October feeder cattle lost 3 cents to $1.1902 a pound; while December lean hogs gained .05 cent at $.4117 a pound.
