DUESSELDORF, Germany (AP) _ Manny Buergsmuller and Danny Kight each kicked two field goals as the Duesseldorf Rhein Fire beat the England Monarchs 12-7 Saturday to clinch a berth in the NFL Europe's World Bowl.
Kight's 41-yard field goal with 1:56 remaining in the third quarter put the Rhein Fire ahead for good, 9-7, in the penalty-filled game.
Burgsmueller's 19-yarder with 35 seconds left sealed the win for Duesseldorf (7-1).
The Monarchs (1-7) scored the game's only touchdown on a 9-yard pass from Josh LaRocca to Reggie Jones in the third quarter.
