CICERO, N.Y. (AP) — State police say a 58-year-old central New York man has died in a motorcycle crash on a highway outside Syracuse.

Troopers say Andrew Lafleur of Fulton in Oswego County was traveling south in state Route 481's passing lane around 2:15 p.m. Thursday when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, left the highway and hit the guide rail separating the northbound and southbound lanes.

Police say he was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in the Onondaga County town of Cicero, just north of Syracuse.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
