BALTIMORE (AP) _ Baltimore Ravens coach Brian Billick has been fined $10,000 by NFL for remarks he made before a game against the Cleveland Browns in which he suggested the league wanted the Browns to win.

``I know darn well we're not going to get a call in Cleveland, no way, no shape, no form, no how,'' Billick said during a news conference Nov. 1. ``The league would really like to see Cleveland beat us.''

Billick later apologized, saying he misspoke.

The Ravens' visit to Cleveland to play the expansion Brown last Sunday was the first for Baltimore. Team owner Art Modell moved the former Cleveland Browns to Baltimore for the 1996 season.

The Ravens won the game 41-9.
