UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) _ The New York Jets re-signed unrestricted free agent linebacker Dwayne Gordon to a four-year contract Thursday. Terms were not announced.

Gordon has played six seasons in the NFL, the last two with the Jets. Originally an eighth-round draft choice of the Miami Dolphins out of the University of New Hampshire, he also has played for the Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers.

In 85 regular season games, he has 151 tackles, 65 special team stops and five passes defensed.
