PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Garrett Kreitz scored 15 points as Penn overcame a poor shooting first half and defeated visiting Brown 58-47 in an Ivy League game Friday.

Doug Romanczuk had 13 points for the Quakers (9-11, 5-3), which defeated Brown (3-18, 2-7) for the 12th straight time. The Bears' last victory over Penn came during the 1990-91 season.

Penn never trailed in the game and held a 24-21 edge at halftime, despite going 7:15 seconds without scoring. Both teams had shooting problems in the half, each making only 10 of 28 shots.

Penn made five of its first seven shots of the second half to build a 37-26 advantage on a layup by Romanczuk. A 3-point shot by Matt Langel gave the Quakers their biggest lead, 46-32 with 10:57 remaining.

Michael Jordan had 10 points for the Quakers and Geoff Owens supplied 11 rebounds and six blocked shots. Chris White had 12 points for the Bears, while Paul Krasinski added 10.
