CHICAGO (AP) _ Outfielder Bruce Aven was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday by the Los Angeles Dodgers, who optioned right-hander Mike Judd there.

Aven was hitting .250 with 11 doubles and five home runs for the Pittsburgh Pirates before he was traded to the Dodgers on Aug. 6. He was sent to Triple-A, where he hit .281 with a double and three RBIs in nine games.

Judd was recalled by the Dodgers on Wednesday, but did not appear in a game.
