ST. MATTHEWS, S.C. (AP) — Three people have died after a wreck in central South Carolina.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the wreck happened shortly before 8 p.m. Monday on U.S. 176 in Calhoun County.

Troopers say the driver of a Chevrolet Camaro veered off the road, overcorrected and crossed the center line and hit a Honda Civic. The driver and passenger in the Honda died, as did the driver of the Camaro.

The names of the victims have not been released yet.
