COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) _ Dedric Willoughby scored 25 points and ignited a second-half rally with four 3-pointers in less than four minutes as No. 22 Iowa State beat Missouri 78-74 Saturday.

Iowa State (19-7, 8-4 Big Eight) swept Missouri in the regular season for the first time since 1978 and won for the first time in Columbia since 1985.

Missouri (16-11, 6-6) had been 13-0 at home this season and had won 14 straight there since a 78-75 loss to Nebraska Feb. 22, 1995.

Willoughby had 27 points, two short of his career high, in a 73-62 victory over Missouri on Jan. 21 in Ames, Iowa.

Kenny Pratt added 21 points on 7-for-11 shooting for Iowa State, which rebounded from a loss at Oklahoma State on Wednesday in which the Cyclones shot only 32.7 percent. This time time Iowa State shot 58 percent (29-for-50) to make up for a so-so day (13-for-25) at the free-throw line.

Willoughby's 3-point spree came in a span of 3:34 and gave Iowa State a 61-55 lead with 8:48 to play. Missouri closed the gap to one when Danny Allouche made one of two from the line with 20 seconds to go and Kelly Thames made two free throws after Pratt was called for a foul on the rebound.

But Pratt made a free throw with 19 seconds to go and Julian Winfield's shot from inside rolled out for Missouri with 5.6 seconds left.

Winfield had a career-high 25 points and 12 rebounds for Missouri. Winfield played only 45 seconds in the first meeting, leaving with what the school said was a rotator cuff injury, although he started the next game.

Allouche added 13 points, also a career high, for Missouri while Jason Sutherland, hounded at times by a box-and-one defense, was held to six points.

Thames had five points in an 11-0 run at the end of the first half and start of the second as Missouri took a 42-35 lead. The run included two free throws by Sutherland after Iowa State coach Tim Floyd was assessed a technical and then followed referee Duane Smith onto the court to complain.

Iowa State went 7:29 without a basket at one point, yet tied it 42-42 on two free throws by Pratt with 16:12 remaining.
