DENVER (AP) _ The Colorado Rockies signed their three players remaining in salary arbitration, agreed Tuesday to one-year contracts with pitchers Mark Thompson and Mike Munoz and utility infielder Jason Bates.

Thompson, 26, signed for $300,000, a $48,000 raise, and can earn $140,000 more in performance bonuses.

He was 3-3 in 1997 with a 7.89 ERA in six starts. He won his first three outings, but lost his next three appearances and went on the disabled list May 8 because of a right rotator cuff strain. He underwent surgery July 30 and missed 131 games.

Munoz, a left-hander, will get $585,000, a $235,000 raise, and can earn $50,000 in performance bonuses.

Bates agreed at $325,000 contract, a $130,000 raise, and can earn another $35,000 in bonuses.
